Working parents who upsized their home to make way for their five-month-old daughter are now settling into their new-build home at David Wilson Homes’ Clipstone Park development in Leighton Buzzard.
After spending just a few minutes at the sales centre of the development, Jessica (30) and Rick Dickinson (35) knew that they would reserve a home at the Leighton Road development. Their dream became a reality when they recently moved into their new home to accommodate for their daughter, Evangeline.
Jessica said: “We were originally looking at other developers but after speaking with Karen in the sales centre at Clipstone Park, we knew that David Wilson Homes were of a higher standard. Karen was also able to offer us a home that we could see rather than just a plot number, which was important to me.
“We chose a new build property because we could move in with our new baby and all we had to do really was hang curtains, everything else was done for us and to a great standard.”
Jessica and Rick moved into the three-bedroom Ashurst style home, ideal for a growing family with an open plan layout and French doors to the garden, there is plenty of space for family time.
Rick said: “We love the large open plan lay out downstairs but also that we are able to close a door to create separate rooms if we need to.
“The upstairs is really spacious with a large landing area and good-sized bedrooms. The two parking spaces outside are really handy for us too and the garden is a great size but also low maintenance, perfect for us.”
The couple had a positive experience with the leading developer and were able to reserve their property and move in within six weeks.
Rick added: “The Sales Advisers were always available to speak to and help us with any queries that we had. We also used the solicitors recommended by David Wilson Homes which made the process easier as they had the experience with dealing with a quick sale and new build.”
Residents at Clipstone Park can enjoy all of the benefits of town living but with the beautiful Bedfordshire countryside on their doorstep. Less then two miles away, Leighton Buzzard town centre provides a range of specialist shops for everyday needs and a variety of restaurants.
Jessica said: “There seems to be a lot going on in Leighton Buzzard and there’s lots of shops within a 10-minute drive of the development, everything we need is really close by.
“We love being on a new development which is being made up to be a whole new community which is fantastic and it’s only 30-minutes away from our family and jobs.”
There are plenty of schemes house hunters can use to help them when reserving a property at a David Wilson Homes development, including Help to Buy, Part Exchange and Movemaker, all designed to make the moving process that much simpler for buyers.
