Affordable city living is not a dream...

Properties in London are notoriously expensive - house prices are among the highest in the world.  But that doesn't mean there are no affordable homes if you know where to look.  The majority of available properties are one and two-bedroom apartments, and larger family homes are both hard to come by and snapped up very quickly.  But if capital living is what you're really looking for, and suburbia just isn't for you, the bright lights and city buzz of London is hard to beat.  Check out the massive regeneration of the 2012 Olympic site in Stratford, where thousands of affordable new homes are being built.
