Brian & Penny Voget explain that they “hadn’t heard of the Help to Buy scheme” before speaking to Crest Nicholson’s sales advisors. Despite not having owned a home before, the “expert help and advice” from the Crest Nicholson team meant that the Vogets move into their dream home at Kilnwood Vale was a quick and simple process.
With Help to Buy, a 5% deposit at a standard mortgage rate of 75% will see the government supply the final 20% through an equity loan, allowing prospective buyers such as the Vogets to purchase a home which otherwise wouldn’t have been possible.
Moving into a brand-new home was also an attraction for the family with fully fitted kitchens and high-spec Amtico flooring. Since moving in, the Vogets explain how they “haven’t needed to make any changes whatsoever to the interior of the house”. Brian also notes the transport connections nearby mean that life at Kilnwood Vale has been a perfect balance between countryside tranquillity and well-connected town life.
Brian says that he loved going into a home that was ready to move into without any DIY needed, whilst the layout, including the open-plan living and dining room, meant that they could entertain whilst cooking at the same time, with lots of generous space throughout their home.
Drawing inspiration from the Garden City Movement of the 19th century, Kilnwood Vale is just a short distance away from Horsham with bars, restaurants and boutique shops for weekend walks, and evenings out with friends and family.
Nearby, the M23 motorway means that much of the south of England is within an hour’s drive of the development, while regular rail links into London from Faygate station mean that the city is never too far away. And for those looking to travel further afield, Gatwick airport is just a short drive away from this exquisitely designed development.
