The UK’s largest event for first time buyers will return to London for the thirteenth time this autumn, expected to welcome thousands of guests across the day. Held at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in Westminster on 21st September from 11AM to 5PM, the show is a one stop shop for those looking to find out more about alternative home ownership schemes - offering budding buyers the unparalleled opportunity to meet some of the country’s largest housing providers face to face.
With over 50 exhibitors all under one roof, the free exhibition will showcase the best of affordable homes available across London and the home counties – including thousands of Shared Ownership and Help to Buy properties. Hosted by Share to Buy, the UK’s leading online portal for Shared Ownership properties, the bi-annual event is held each March and September and has welcomed almost 50,000 visitors since its launch in 2013.
Nick Lieb, Head of Operations for Share to Buy, comments: “Despite widespread Brexit uncertainty, it is clear that London buyers are undeterred, and demand remains strong for high-quality affordable homes. The London Home Show in March this year was one of our most well-attended events, with over 4,000 first time buyers turning out to meet industry experts face to face.
'The largest event in the country geared towards the first time buyer'
"Designed to help first time buyers navigate the world of alternative home ownership schemes, including Shared Ownership and Help to Buy, the London Home Show allows hopeful buyers to easily compare all of the available options – deciding which scheme and provider is right for them. We are proud to be the largest event in the country geared directly towards first time buyers, and look forward to welcoming thousands of new guests in September.”
Partnering with London’s leading housing providers, sponsors of the event include The L&Q Group, Southern Home Ownership, Notting Hill Genesis, SO Resi by Metropolitan Thames Valley, Clarion Housing, Peabody, Red Loft, Countryside Properties and Crest Nicholson. Brand new to the show this September, Catalyst, Fabrica, JLL and Savills also join the prestigious list of headline sponsors. Each exhibitor will have their own stand, making it easy for hopeful buyers to speak to sales teams and get their questions answered.
Throughout the day, there will also be live Q&A sessions where industry experts will answer questions from the audience - covering everything from perfecting your credit score to understanding eligibility criteria. Independent mortgage advisors and conveyancing solicitors will also be on hand to offer financial and legal advice to anyone looking to buy their own home.
