Help to Buy proving a real hit at Oak Point, Hillingdon

The Government’s Help to Buy scheme is proving a real hit with first time buyers in Hillingdon wanting to get on the property ladder at Clearview Homes’ latest development, Oak Point. So far over a third of the development has been reserved off plan using the scheme.

Oak Point consists of just 26, one and two-bedroom spacious apartments, in a stylish contemporary building with all properties having outside space in the form of a private terrace, balcony or private garden. Set in the residential area of Sutton Court Road, the development also benefits from established local services and amenities and good commuter links, with Hillingdon station just over a mile away with connections to Metropolitan and Piccadilly underground lines.

Shelley West, Sales and Marketing Director for Clearview Homes comments:

“Help to Buy is proving to be extremely popular with purchasers in Hillingdon, with eleven properties at Oak Point already reserved from plan. We had a large number of Help to Buy schemepurchasers  use the Help to Buy scheme at our previous site, The Paddocks so it is good to see this level of demand continue.

“The apartments at Oak Point are built to a high specification and feature a contemporary finish inside, with professionally designed kitchens with gas hob and integrated appliances.  There is also lift access to all floors, video entry system to the building and each apartment has allocated parking. They are ideal for young professionals and downsizers looking for low maintenance living. The apartments will be ready to move into this November.”

Help to Buy London enables you to buy a new home with just a 5% deposit, whether you are a first-time buyer or moving from your existing home. The Government will also lend up to 40% of the value of the new home via an equity loan. The Help to Buy equity loan can be repaid at any time or on the future sale of the home. The scheme is eligible on all properties up to £600,000 and is exclusively available on new build properties.

Commuter links are good with buses to the station and the tube journey to Baker Street only taking about 36 minutes. London Heathrow airport is approximately six miles away and there is easy access to M40, M4 and M25.
