Stylish new homes for humans and wildlife in creation of community at Ladden Garden Village

Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes are creating a special community with a difference in Yate at the new Ladden Garden Village.

The five star housebuilders have commissioned an ecological plan to identify and protect wildlife at the site of the development - which features a range of two, three and four bedroom homes.

The site, located just north of Yate town centre, includes around 101 hectares of mostly arable and improved pastureland - with a network of hedgerows including mature oak and ash trees.

Other habitats within the site boundary include semi-improved neutral grassland, scattered scrub, dense scrub, marshy grassland, open water, and both permanent and ephemeral watercourses.

Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes are gearing up for their new Ladden Garden Village developments in Yate, by backing an important community fundraising event.

The five star housebuilders are sponsoring the forthcoming Yate Relay for Life, which takes place on 7 and 8 July - and the £1,000 donation will support this local fundraising event for Cancer Research UK.

“We know how important Yate Relay for Life is, in terms of raising money for this vital charity, and we want to show our support for those taking part,” said Barratt Homes sales director, Andrea Pilgrim.
